Sidney Crosby breaks American hearts with his golden goal.
This hurts to write as an American. It was eleven years ago today that Sidney Crosby crushed the hearts of American hockey fans everywhere. The 2010 Olympic Games were hosted by Vancouver, but the highlight of the tourney was Crosby.

He gets a pass right in front from Jarome Iginla and zips it five-hole on Ryan Miller. The goal brought the entire country of Canada to its feet but brought America to its knees. The goal is known today as the “Golden Goal”. After all is said and done, this is by far one of the most electric goals in ice hockey history.
