The NHL offseason has already been an absolute thrill to watch. From seeing Marc-Andre Fleury getting traded to David Krejci going to the Czech Republic, this offseason has seen some wild moments. One thing that is certain is that teams were not afraid to spend some money in free agency this year. While a lot of big names are off the market, some still remain. One of those names is Kyle Palmieri.
The fact that Kyle Palmieri is still a UFA is shocking honestly. https://t.co/8qU2AKvVsE

Palmieri spent last season on the New Jersey Devils and New York Islanders. He can still be a valuable asset to any team in this league. Here are three teams that should call him about joining their team.
New York Islanders
Ever since his trade to New York, Palmieri has been a shining star for the Islanders. It took him a little bit to get used to the team, but overall he has fit in nicely. He excelled once the playoffs started as he was a huge part of the Islanders’ run to the Eastern Conference Finals. That being said, it seems like it would be a great addition to bring him back to the squad.
Kyle Palmieri found a home on the third line in New York. Even though he wasn’t playing top minutes like he was in New Jersey, he still made the most of his ice time. He is effective in all areas of the ice and is a great asset to the already dangerous Islanders’ power-play. The main focus for the Islanders right now is bringing back Anthony Beauvillier and Adam Pelech. After these guys are signed, it seems like they will still have some money to spend. If it has worked in the past, why not bring it back and do it all again.
It has been an absolute wild offseason for Philadelphia so far. They have been extra busy on the trade front so far. They have acquired Rasmus Ristolainen, Ryan Ellis, and Cam Atkinson already in this offseason. There is one thing that is certain and that is they still could use some help on the wing. Kyle Palmieri seems like he could fit that role perfectly.
Palmieri can play with anyone on this team. Kevin Hayes is a powerhouse and Sean Couturier is a maniac. The Flyers are still lacking some talent on the forward group. Bringing in a guy like Palmier can not only just help the veterans, but he can also be a mentor for all the young forwards trying to make a difference. The Flyers would be stupid to not even give a call to see if Kyle Palmieri would like to join the Broad Street Bullies.
This one could be a home-run signing for Minnesota. With the future of Kirill Kaprizov in question, they need some help on their wings. The Wild are also filing for arbitration for Kevin Fiala, so there is tension on the forward group. Kyle Palmieri would fit in perfectly with a center like Joel Eriksson-Ek. The Minnesota Wild currently have a little over $19 million in cap space still.
Obviously the main goal is to re-sign Kaprizov and Fiala. Even with those contracts coming, the Wild will still have some space for a guy like Kyle Palmieri. The Wild have had a history of not having a lot of depth on the wing. With the departure of Zach Parise as well, the Wild need some help upfront. Palmieri can play on either the left or right side. This makes it more of a fit as he can fit in anywhere in the lineup. He can play first-line minutes or even be a great asset to the third line.
