Bill Belichick doesn't want the Presidential Medal of Freedom after riots on Capitol Hill
It’s no secret that Robert Kraft, Bill Belichick, and President Donald Trump are friends. This fact made it less surprising when the White House announced they would be awarding Bill Belichick with the Presidential Medal of Freedom an NFL head coach. It wasn’t overly shocking news.
The Patriots head coach was fully prepared to accept the prestigious award, but that all changed after the January 6th incident at Capitol Hill. The six-time Super-Bowl winning coach is not about to put his relationships with his players at risk for a medal. Any person with a brain understands that this is the right move. Fuck that medal he needs to keep his players and staff inside that locker room happy. Chilling with Donald Trump post almost having his Vice President murdered isn’t a good look. Although seeing him get the Presidential Medal of Freedom with his hoodie on would have been hilarious.
