How about the Chicago Blackhawks? Chicago shut up the haters quickly after absolutely demolishing the Oilers 6-4 in game one. Dominik Kubalik and Jonathan Toews were the stars on Chicago as they each scored a pair of goals. Brandon Saad and Dylan Strome scored the other two for Chicago. The goals for Edmonton were scored by James Neal, Connor McDavid, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and Leon Draisaitl. Dominating effort from Chicago throughout the entire game.

What a piss missile from Kubalik. This kid is an absolute unit and a huge threat on the ice. The score should have been 7-4, but Patrick Kane’s empty netter was erased due to an offside challenge. What a bold move from Edmonton challenging an offside empty-net goal with eight seconds left in the game. They wanted to keep some pride.
Game 2 will be Monday, August 3rd, at 10:30 p.m ET. Get the popcorn ready. This series will be a ride to the finish.
