Demetrius Johnson is the greatest MMA flyweight of all time.
Johnson will return to the cage on April 7th to fight the reigning/defending ONE Flyweight Champion of the World, Adriano Moraes. Both fighters did not fight in 2020 due to travel bans. Now they are back in the cage and set for television on TNT.
Demetrious Johnson will now challenge Adriano Moraes for the ONE flyweight title on April 7th.
And Eddie Alvarez will return against Iuri Lapicus on the same card.

Johnson has set ONE on fire since coming over from the UFC. “Mighty Mouse” won the promotion flyweight Grand Prix title in 2019. Johnson is off to a 3-0 start in the ONE promotion. However, he is fighting a lethal submission artist in Moraes that has been a dominant force in ONE for years.
After splitting the first of their two fights, Moraes is coming with a chip on his shoulder. Adriano “Black Diamond” Moraes has an 18-3 record, with half his wins coming by way of submission. Moraes will be looking to make a name for himself against the best to ever do it in the 125-pound division. This fight should be electric and will determine who is the real king of ONE’s flyweight division.
Eddie Alvarez Returns
Another former UFC champion will also step foot in the ONE circle on ONE TNT: Eddie Alvarez. Unfortunately, Alvarez did not have the start he was looking for in ONE when he was knocked out in the first round of his first fight inside the promotion by Timofey Nastyukhin. After that setback, The Underground King was able to get his first ONE win with a first-round submission victory over Eduard Folayang.
Alvarez will now set his sight on Iuri Lapicus. Lapicus just tasted defeat for the first time in his professional career, losing to Christian Lee by first-round TKO. Iuri Lapicus is a 14-1 fighter that will be an extremely challenging fight for Alvarez. After coming up just short, Lapicus will be hungry for revenge. Iuri Lapicus has never left a single fight in the judge’s hands, with only having one fight going longer than one round. Alvarez will have to pull out a special performance. Lapicus’ long list of fighters he has finished will grow larger if Alvarez doesn’t step up big time.
We are set for a card to remember for ONE TNT I Wednesday, April 7th at 10 PM EST.
