Diego Costa Is Worth The Risk For Wolves

Wolverhampton Wanderers are after former Chelsea star Diego Costa after he agreed to end his contract at Atletico Madrid and became a free agent on January 1st. The 32-year-old goal machine fell out of favor at the Spanish club where he had six months left on his deal and asked to leave for family reasons.

Costa has made only three appearances this entire season and is desperate for a bigger role.  Wolves make a ton of sense after their star striker Raul Jimenez fractured his skull and is out indefinitely. This would allow Costa to be a true number one striker on a team that is always competitive. Costa knows the Prem better than anyone. Despite his age, the Spanish marksman is certainly worth the Wolves team’s risk hoping to qualify for European futbol.

Costa has been surrounded by controversy in his career but for Wolves, this is a low risk-high reward type move. They are in no position to be picky.
