This is what Jets fans have been waiting for from this guy. They have been waiting for Pierre-Luc Dubois to explode and make a big-time play for this team. Dubois was acquired from Columbus earlier this season in the Patrik Laine trade. Ever since the trade, it seems Columbus has gotten more production from their acquisitions than Winnipeg. Tonight, that changes. The Jets get a huge win, despite a Montreal comeback, because Pierre-Luc Dubois scores in OT to win the game.
This goal puts Dubois up to four goals and two assists for six points in twelve games played. Out of those four goals, three of them have come with Winnipeg. He is a great two-way forward that has some amazing hands. He can really thrive in Winnipeg, but his job is far from done as this team is looking for a deep playoff run.

After Montreal tied the game with 1:24 left in the game, Winnipeg had to gain their composure back to finish the job in OT. Winnipeg got their other goals from Paul Stastny (6, 7) and Mathieu Perreault (5). Montreal got their goals from Brendan Gallagher (8), Tyler Toffoli (14), and Corey Perry (3). The great puck protection and the amazing pass are how Dubois scores in OT here. A rematch is set for Saturday night at 7 pm between these two teams, but I have a feeling Montreal will come out buzzing.
