The Battle of Pennsylvania just added another crazy chapter to its wild history. The Philadelphia Flyers have been real shakey on defense in their last few games. They have been getting some great offensive production, but they also have allowed a lot of goals recently. Tonight, Brian Elliott got the start over Carter Hart and it did not go well. His poor play within the first period required an impressive Flyers comeback to win this game.
Claude Giroux had missed a lot of time this season thanks to being placed on the NHL COVID list. He was a huge part of the Flyers comeback tonight. When the team was down 3-1 in the second period, he scored his second of the season to get the team within one. He continued to contribute as he gets the primary assist on the tying goal from Scott Laughton. He capped it off with the game-winning goal with 2:08 left in the third period. The Flyers win this game after being down 3-0 in the first period.

Sean Couturier (6) also scored for the Flyers. The Penguins got their goals from Kris Letang (5), Mark Friedman (1), and Jared McCann (4). All those goals came within minutes of each other in the first period. This is a huge win for the Flyers. They needed this badly to stay ahead of Pittsburgh in the playoff race. A rematch is set between these two teams on Saturday at 1 pm. The Battle of Pennsylvania is always an exciting time.
