In an absolute insane day for the NFL, Gronk decides to stick with Tom and try to go for another ring.
The Deal
Gronk just signed a one-year $10M deal with the Buccaneers.
A chance to run it back: Tight end Rob Gronkowski is returning to the Bucs on a one-year deal worth $10 million, @DrewJRosenhaus told ESPN.

Gronkowski had a decent season last year with the Bucs. Gronk caught 45 passes for over 600 yards. He also managed to haul in 7 touchdowns, as well as two in the postseason.
This $10M deal sets Gronk up to be the fifth highest paid tight-end in the league next season. Some of the others ahead of him include Travis Kelce, Austin Hooper and after today, Jonnu Smith. Chargers’ Hunter Henry is still awaiting a deal to see where he sits on this list as well as where he might land.
This deal means that Tom Brady and Gronk will be together for at least another year. While Gronk did play well last year, many fans were hoping for old Rob and a bit better stats. While his last season with the Patriots was a bit slower, we all know what a healthy Gronk is capable of. He’s put up four 1,000 yard seasons over his career and five double digit touchdown years. If Gronkowski can even scrape the surface of some of his previous years, he might once again be able to dent the Lombardi Trophy. Or better yet, he might be able to catch it on a pass from Tom Brady while on a boat. Either way I think fans are very interested in seeing how the duo will play next season.
The Bucs are in great shape to run in back next season as they re-signed Shaquil Barrett earlier today. The Bucs receiving core Is still looking good with Mike Evans and a franchise tagged Chris Godwin. We are still awaiting news on what happens with free agent Antonio Brown next season.
