Famous Jameis is staying in New Orleans. After Drew Brees decided to hang ’em up for good the Saints turned their attention to keep Winston. They extended Tayson Hill for four years but let’s be honest. Tayson Hill is not a starting quarterback. Jameis gets the starting gig he deserves. The Saints are giving Winston a one-year deal worth $12 million. A very good deal for someone that can guarantee you over 4,000 passing yards and at least 25 touchdowns.
Jameis Winston reached agreement on a one-year deal worth up to $12 million with the Saints, per league source.

Bottom line the New Orleans Saints will be must-watch football again. Jameis was a former number one overall pick and he spent five years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his five seasons, he made one Pro-Bowl. He has thrown for 19,737 yards while with the Buccs and threw 121 touchdown passes.
Winston is most famous by the football world for throwing 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in the same season. But the Saints are going to be in a great spot with Jameis if he can play smart and limit the turnovers. Winston has played a full 16 games in three of his five seasons and in all three of those seasons he threw for over 4,000 yards. And in the years where he did not play a full 16 games, he was on pace to break 4,000 yards.
It’s time for the New Orleans Saints to start eating W’s with Famous Jameis.
