Johnson’s Late Goal Lifts Lightning Past Bruins

Tyler Johnson Goal 8/5

What a disappointment for Bruins fans everywhere. The Bruins came back from a two-goal deficit just to see that work deteriorate in front of them. Tampa Bay was great t certain moments of the game, especially when it mattered. Tyler Johnson was in right place at the right time. A big rebound by Tuukka Rask went right to Johnson who popped it in with 1:27 left in the game. Such a gut punch for the Bruins who knew that game was key for their seeding chances. Goals for Tampa Bay also came from Brayden Point and Alex Killorn. Boston’s goals were scored by Chris Wagner and Charlie McAvoy.

Such a disappointment for me especially. Most of me believed we would win this, but it doesn’t always go that way. Boston now gets ready for Washington on Sunday for a potential finish for the third seed. Tampa Bay now gets ready for Philadelphia on Saturday. That game could be potentially for the number one seed. Lots of hockey to be played these playoffs. This series would be a bloodbath. I’m all for it.
