Kirill Kaprizov

Dolla Dolla Kirills are flying all over the place tonight. The rookie sensation in Minnesota seems to be the front runner for Rookie of the Year at this point. His explosive style of play and insane shot is a perfect combo for any hockey superstar. He is the first rookie this season to eclipse the 20 point mark on the season. Tonight, he added to his resume for a fantastic rookie season. Kaprizov scores his first career hat-trick in the NHL to power the Wild to a 4-0 win over the Coyotes.

The Coyotes came into this game with a six-game point streak for road games. That seems like a hot team to me. They play their best hockey this season while on the road. Minnesota handled that business pretty easily. Cam Talbot came back in goal and had a strong game to get the shutout. It also helps when Kaprizov scores some beautiful goals like this one.

This kid is unbelievable. He made the entire Coyotes’ roster look foolish out there. This kid is going to be a problem in the NHL for a very long time. Remember when the Bruins traded their fifth road pick back in 2015 to Minnesota? That pick ended up being Kaprizov. That is a brutal thought. Side note: these reverse retro jerseys should be a full-time away jersey for Minnesota.
