Minnesota Timberwolves Fire Head Coach Ryan Saunders

The Minnesota Timberwolves lost to the New York Knicks on Sunday night to put them at 7-24, the worst record in the league.

Following the game, the Timberwolveannounced they would be moving on from coach Ryan Saunders. Saunders was in his second season with the Timberwolves and had an overall record of 43-94. Sanders is only 33 years old, which made him the youngest coach in the NBA. Minnesota has had their difficulties in keeping superstars Karl Anthony-Towns and D’Angelo Russell healthy. Towns was only available for 45 games in the last two seasons combined.

Moving on from Saunders, the Timberwolves announced they are hiring Chris Finch. Chris Finch was working as the assistant coach for the Toronto Raptors before this hiring. Finch has been involved with basketball since 1997 and on an NBA bench since 2011.

The Timberwolves have the key players to make a run for the playoffs. Do you think they will with this coaching change? Let us know.
