Palat Scores Twice, Tampa Bay Takes 3-1 Series Lead Over Boston

Tampa Bay Lightning

This is getting ugly in Boston. Nothing is going right for them on either side of the puck. Their discipline isn’t where it should be as they seem to have gone over the top. Nick Ritchie’s five-minute major boarding call set the tone as Tampa wins this game 3-1 to take a 3-1 series lead. Ondrej Palat (two) and Victor Hedman scored for Tampa Bay. Jake DeBrusk scored the lone goal for Boston.

That goal just summarizes the Bruins series perfectly. Even the things they initially do right, it ends poorly. The offense is invisible and they need a huge boost to keep their season alive. Game five will be Monday, August 31st, at 7 p.m EST. Will Tampa be the first team to advance or will Boston force a game six? It’s all up in the air.
