The New York Rangers have traded forward Lias Andersson to the LA Kings for the 60th pick in the second round. The Rangers went on to select William Cuylle from the Windsor Spitfires. Cuylle is a technically gifted shooter. He’s got so much upper-body strength too; the kid is a strong hockey player. Andersson will look to live up to the hype that he failed to live up to in New York. Andersson’s father is also a scout for the LA Kings.
So that's that for Lias Andersson and the Rangers. No surprise to anyone who has been paying attention. To LA for No. 60 for selection of William Cuylle. In hockey context, the seventh-overall pick of Andersson in '17 was a disaster.
