Rapper Bobby Shmurda Finally Released From Prison

Bobby Shmurda has been released from prison after serving for more than six years.

The Brooklyn rapper was originally scheduled to be released in December of 2021. Due to good behavior, Bobby was released early on parole. Bobby’s arrest came in 2014, just days after performing hit “Hot Boy” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”. Even though he’s free now, the rapper will stay on parole till 2026.

Ahead of Bobby’s release, rapper Quavo announced he would be picking up Shmurda. Quavo later posted a video on Instagram of Bobby walking off Quavo’s private jet. Quavo and Bobby worked on music before the arrest. This makes it safe to say they’ll be back in the studio together soon.

Bobby Shmurda will be looking to get right back into the music industry. Shmurda had multiple Billboard hits before his arrest. Songs such as “Hot N-” and “Bobby Bitch” were taking over the music industry when they were released. Both of these songs recently went platinum.

Even while Bobby settles back in to normal life and reunites with all of his family, we know his focus. He will be ready to start making music again.

After 7 long years, it is great to see Bobby Shmurda free.
