Smith Shines Again, Pops In OT Winner In Game 2 For Vegas

Reilly Smith's OT Winner

Vegas keeps on rolling. Reilly Smith shined in game one with a pair of goals to propel Vegas to a victory. He was back at it again in game two with the overtime winner to give Vegas a 2-0 series lead. Scoring for Vegas as well was Mark Stone, Paul Stastny, and Tomas Nosek. Chicago put up quite the effort in this 4-3 loss. Dominik Kubalik, Dylan Strome, and Kirby Dach had the goals for the Hawks. Nice to see the young studs stepping up in the biggest stage in the sport.

What a redirection by Smith. Turned his whole body to get that to go in. Quite impressive. Game three between these teams will be Saturday, August 15th, at 8 p.m EST on NBC. This series has the potential to be a long one, but Chicago needs that extra step to thrive in the big moment. Patrick Kane has to be his MVP version of himself to lead this team to glory. Let’s get it.
