After just one season, Isaiah Wilson’s time with the Tennessee Titans has come to an end.
Ian Rapoport announced on Twitter today that Wilson was being traded to the Miami Dolphins. Tennessee will receive Miami’s 2021 and 2022 seventh-round draft picks. Even though the trade has been announced, it will not become final until the NFL’s new league year begins on March 17th.

Isaiah Wilson was the 29th pick for the Titans in the 2020 draft. Even though Wilson only played one game on the field, he made headlines. Wilson was arrested for a DUI charge prior to the first game of the season. Later, he would be suspended by the team for a game. Wilson finished the season on the reserve non-football illness list. Just a month ago, Wilson even tweeted out that he was “done with football as a Titan”.

Isaiah Wilson’s move to Miami could be a fresh start for him. The offensive tackle was great in college and helped the Georgia Bulldogs to the Sugar Bowl. Wilson proved he was excellent as a run-blocker, so it will be interesting to see him fit into Miami’s offense. If the second-year player can stay out of trouble, he could become a good asset for Miami.
