The Morning After – Toronto Raptors

Another Raptors game, another Norm Powell gem. It’s almost gotten to the point where Norm has become too important to trade. I’d rather have Norm than 3 André Drummonds. We will see how the dominos fall come the trade deadline.

Along with Norm, Spicy P was a man on a mission again last night. Pascal finished 22/7/6 in a fantastic 42 minutes. Aaron Baynes played great as well, finishing 11/4/2 in 24 minutes. Bembry starting vs. Philly was genius that meant Baynes was first off the bench and made Embiid’s night a bit harder. Spicy at the 4 with Baynes at the 5 is a recipe for a tough night for any big. NN has found a spot for Baynes, and that’s a plus because they need that big body healthy.

Despite falling 109-102 to the top dogs in the east, Toronto has found its stride. The team Started 2-8 and now sit at 16-16 and 5th in the east. As expected, this team has turned a corner and is playing great ball. Kyle Lowry doesn’t like sitting bs his boy Jimmy Butler so watch for 7 back in the starting lineup tonight in Miami.

Streak: L1

Record: 16-16

Next up: @Miami Wednesday 24th
