The New York Islanders Defeat The Florida Panthers 2-1 In Game 1

The New York Islanders couldn’t have played a better playoff game off the hop. Barry Trotz coached teams simply won’t be outbattled, and today proved that the Isles will be a very difficult team to play this postseason. Newly acquired Jean-Gabriel-Pageau opened the scoring for the Islanders and although both Russian goalies played lights out today, the Islanders extended the lead in the second period on an Anthony Beauvillier tally. Huberdeau scored one early in the third period for the Panthers but the Isles went into shutdown mode after that. Like I said today on the Tarps Off Hockey Gambling Rundown I fully expect the Isles to sweep this series three straight, Hopefully, you all listened to uncle Chrissy and smashed the Isles money line.
