The Toronto Maple Leafs have found their next assistant coach as they have reportedly hired former Vancouver Canucks assistant coach and player Manny Malhotra.
Hearing the open spot on TOR's bench will be filled by Manny Malhotra, who is moving from the VAN staff.

Malhotra played 18 seasons in the NHL across seven teams, including the Canucks. Malhotra was a great leader inside the locker room and was undoubtedly a players coach in Vancouver. Many had speculated Bruce Boudreau would take the position, but I think he’s probably waiting for his next ride on the NHL coaching carousel.
