It took more than an “I love Jake Paul” tattoo to convince Paul to fight Woodley for a second time. After Tommy Fury’s withdrawal, the Youtube star was left with no choice if he wanted to compete on December 18th.
Tommy Fury took to Instagram to discuss his reasoning for withdrawing due to a broken rib suffered in training.
Jake Paul now sits at (4-0) in his boxing career after defeating the former UFC champion Tyron Woodley (0-1) by split decision in a heated bout back in August. Woodley slapped Jake Paul with his first bit of adversity, stinging and leaving Paul buckled against the ropes, but was apprehensive about letting his hands go. However, two of the judges believed Jake Paul’s output was enough to grant him a split decision victory.

Tyron Woodley also had some words he left on his Instagram regarding taking Tommy Fury’s slot.
“The hand off he fumbled, but I scooped it back up! It pays to stay ready!” – Woodley titled a photo of the updated fight card.
