Yannick Ngakoue
The Raiders are looking to beef up their defense. The biggest concern for last year’s Raiders team was their defense. They seem to have the pieces on offense to hang with the best teams in the league. The defense was their weakest point. The Raiders finished last year with an 8-8 record and missed the playoffs once again. They haven’t been in the playoffs since 2016 when they lost to Houston in the Wild Card round. They look to change that this season. There are many reports going around that Yannick Ngakoue is close to a deal with the Raiders.
Ngakoue is a fantastic defensive end. He was a huge part of the 2017 Jacksonville Jaguars team that almost made the Super Bowl. It seems like he wants a change of scenery over the Ravens systems. This will be his third team over the last two seasons. This includes the Baltimore Ravens and the Minnesota Vikings. He is one of the more versatile DEs in the NFL.
Former Ravens’ LB Yannick Ngakoue reached agreement on a two-year, $26 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, per source.
